From time to time, fish tries to get persuaded not to eat meat. The reasons for that are many, pressing from various types of humans are also plenty. So what illuminated fish should do?
Let’s start from thinking, even though everything starts even before that.
As fish like meat in this period of time, the case would be built for eating meat and fish will use Google to find supporting arguments for it.
So:
In the case of meat-eating versus vegetarianism, people blindly argue for one extreme or the other. The problem is that people are attached to regarding food as either meat or as vegetables. For Buddhists, there is neither meat nor vegetables; there are only elements in nature. Whether the eater or the eaten, it's all merely natural elements. The situations where we should eat meat and the circumstances in which we shouldn't can be discerned by using the principle of the Kalama Sutta. For just this reason, the Buddha never decisively said to eat only meat or only vegetables, to not eat meat or not eat vegetables. To speak so carelessly is not the way of Buddhists.

The evidence of the Pali canon tells us that the historical Buddha allowed most kinds of meat to be eaten and he refused to impose vegetarianism. The priority he taught was to get off the samsara wheel as quickly as possible, and his rulings on food recognised that his followers needed to consume enough nutritious foods in order to remain strong and be useful.
Above is from Should Buddhists Refrain From Eating Meat? Fish suggest to read the text in full as it seems that Paul Lockey spent some time meditating on this subject and has seen the light.
However, as a trained Buddhist, I also feel a little discontented when Buddhism is associated with nothing beyond vegetarianism, nonviolence, peace, and meditation. Prince Siddhartha, who sacrificed all the comforts and luxuries of palace life, must have been searching for more than passivity and shrubbery when he set out to discover enlightenment.
This text was gils’ opener for fish -> What Makes You a Buddhist? Mind you - this text is long, so don’t read it if you are a gold fish.
And remember - fish like tasty worm, when fish see the worm - fish forget about many concepts and just want to grab the worm.
